Events & Venues Scout (Freelance, Part-Time)
Antiswipe | London (with UK expansion) | 10 hrs/week | 2-month contract
We’re looking for someone to go out into London and find us the kind of venues people actually want to meet in.
Antiswipe is growing fast, and this role is all about helping us expand — sourcing new locations, starting conversations, and turning great spaces into real events.
It’s part-time (around 10 hours a week), freelance, and very hands-on.
Why this role exists
Right now, everything runs through the founder — and it’s time to change that.
We’re looking for someone to go out into London and find us the kind of venues people actually want to meet in — then turn them into real opportunities.
This role is about building our venue pipeline — and helping shape where Antiswipe shows up next.
If you walk into a place and instantly think “this would be perfect for an event” — you’ll get this role.

FAQs
What actually is The Antiswipe?
We’re a dating events brand bringing people together in real life - no apps, no swiping, no ick. Think fun, laid-back events where you can actually talk to people face-to-face. Wild concept, we know.
Do I need to come solo?
Most people do - and we make it easy to settle in. Our hosts are there to get you mingling without any of the awkward “so, what do you do?” intros. If you bring a friend, just make sure you don’t stick together so much that you miss out on meeting new faces.
What kind of events do you run?
Not just drinks at a bar (though sometimes, yes). We mix it up with games, sports, classes, and creative stuff - basically anything that helps you connect without forced small talk.
How do I get tickets?
Keep an eye on our Events page or join the mailing list for first dibs. Tickets usually go fast, so don’t hang about.
What age range are the events for?
Most of our events are open to people in their 20s, 30s and early 40s, but it depends on the night. We’ll always let you know the target age range in the event listing.
Is this speed dating?
Nope. No clocks, no chairs, no weird energy. You’ll meet lots of people naturally throughout the night. If you do want something more structured, we might throw in a little prompt or activity to help break the ice.
What if I don’t meet anyone I fancy?
Honestly, it happens. But our events are designed to be a great night regardless - good vibes, good chat, and usually a decent drink in hand. Worst case? You leave with new mates or a new go-to venue.
How do matches work?
At most events, you’ll be able to submit names of people you clicked with after the event. If it’s mutual, we’ll connect you. No pressure, no cringe.
